Philosophy
How often do you hear people say, “if only I could show you what I mean” or “if only I could see what you mean”. We believe that:
- Art allows every one of us to imagine, create and express a range of possibilities
- Art is a unique and powerful form of analysis as it provides original insight and fresh understanding of issues
- Art allows problems and solutions to be communicated in a new way
- The art process unleashes new levels of creativity and innovation that can be applied to finding achievable solutions
- The art process brings together the right and left parts of the brain
Traditionally the relationship between the arts and business was one where businesses purchased the arts or, through acts of philanthropy, sponsored the arts.
Over the last two decades or more the relationship has changed with the arts playing an increasingly important role in organisational development to achieve specific business outcomes. This new relationship, this new offering by the arts to the world of business has been variously described as art based training programs, art based learning, art based interventions and art based approaches.
We at Adrenaline Brush are less concerned with the terminology than with the improvements that we are able to bring to businesses. We employ a visual arts approach and work with:
- Organisations at a strategic level to create a future vision and explore barriers to realising that vision
- Future leaders to address leadership issues
- Teams to identify and resolve team issues
- Groups of individuals to create personal visions for the future and explore barriers to realising those visions
